Research Groups

The research groups run by RCTP consist of individuals coming from different universities working in the same field. The RCTP coordinates and hosts the researchers for collaborative discussions online or in situ.

RCTP Talks

Announcing the kickoff of the RCTP Talk Series - a series of research talks in physics, mathematics and related fields organized by the Research Center for Theoretical Physics (RCTP), Jagna, Bohol, Philippines. This series aims to bring distinguished researchers, scholars, and experts from a variety of fields. Their objective? To collectively present and discuss the forefront of their cutting-edge insights and discoveries.

Our very first talk for this series is on December 21, 2023, organized by the  RCTP Leavitt Path Algebra Group.

Speaker: Guido Arnone (Doctoral student, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina)

Talk: "𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝑯𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒑𝒚 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝑨𝒍𝒈𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒔".

This research school aims to provide an immersive learning experience on Leavitt path algebras (LPAs) and its related topics for graduate students from the Philippines and its neighboring countries. LPAs represent a powerful and versatile algebraic structure with applications in diverse mathematical fields, including graph theory, groupoids, K-Theory, operator algebras, and symbolic dynamics.

The primary focus of this research school is to equip participants with a deep understanding of the theoretical foundations, computational techniques, and applications of LPAs. Through a carefully curated curriculum, participants will engage in comprehensive discussions and problem-solving sessions, fostering a dynamic learning environment. Through a dedicated session for peer and expert interactions, attendees shall be engaged in discussions for research collaborations and career-building forums.
